Basketball Recap: Surrey Piles Up the Points Against Tioga

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Prairie/Max, Surrey was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 61-28 victory over the Tioga Pirates. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 68-47 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Surrey's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tioga, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Surrey and Drake/Anamoose will round out the year against one another at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Tioga, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stanley at 6:45 p.m. on the 30th.
