Basketball Recap: Farragut Piles Up the Points Against William Blount

Farragut won the last time they faced William Blount and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Farragut Admirals simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the William Blount Governors 75-31. The Admirals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Dominic Vanacker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 6-for-8 from downtown and almost dropping a double-double on 29 points and nine rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Lane, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 12 points.

Farragut's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for William Blount, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farragut will venture away from home to challenge West at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for William Blount, they will head out to take on Hardin Valley Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
