Football Recap: St. Bernard Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

St. Bernard took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 27-16 victory over the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets.

Despite the loss, Palo Verde Valley still got an impressive performance from Kenneth Salazar, who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries. Salazar's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Palo Verde Valley also got a significant boost from Christian Richards, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 93 yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Bernard will challenge Littlerock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palo Verde Valley, they will square off against Shadow Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
