            St. Vincent de Paul has gone 8-2 against Santa Rosa recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Thursday. St. Vincent de Paul will square off against Santa Rosa at 4:30  p.m. St. Vincent de Paul will be strutting in after a  win while Santa Rosa will be coming in after a  defeat.
St. Vincent de Paul is headed into the  matchup having just  posted their closest  victory since April 30, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Healdsburg, sneaking past  5-3. The  win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Greyhounds: they've now won three in a row.
 Makayla Bignardi made a splash no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She also  allowed four  hits, marking her first of the season. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  RBI and one  double.

 In other batting news,  Gracie Murphy was  incredible,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4. Those  three  hits gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Maddy Rynning, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Santa Rosa fell victim to Piner and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. They lost  11-0 to the Prospectors. The  loss leaves the Panthers still looking for their first win of the season.
 Santa Rosa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Vincent de Paul,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
 St. Vincent de Paul took their  win against Santa Rosa  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  15-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Vincent de Paul since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
