Basketball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade blew Bridgeport out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Bridgeport got their revenge. The Cascade Kodiaks fell just short of the Bridgeport Mustangs by a score of 55-53. The game was a 30-30 toss-up at halftime, but the Kodiaks couldn't quite close it out.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Bridgeport, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-8.

Cascade and Bridgeport could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Cascade (ranked 327th) will meet Tonasket (ranked 138th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bridgeport will square off against Chelan at 7:15 p.m. on Friday down 200 places (242 vs. 42).
