Volleyball Recap: Rangeview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Rangeview was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Montbello last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders lost 3-0 to the Denver East Angels on Wednesday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Angels recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Rangeview was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-11.

Brook Justi paced Rangeview's offense, picking up five kills. Justi got some help from Teyla Holloway and her nine assists. Holloway was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Rangeview's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Denver East, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rangeview is set to face off against their familiar foe Vista PEAK Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Denver East will challenge rival Northfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
