Baseball Recap: Seaford's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seaford can now relate to. They fell 6-1 to the Wantagh Warriors on Thursday. The Vikings were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Warriors' pitchers proved too tough.

Seaford moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Wantagh, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

While Seaford had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
