Basketball Recap: Willa Glover Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mcneil

Anderson hadn't done well against McNeil recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Anderson Trojans managed a 42-36 win over the McNeil Mavericks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-37 back in November.

Anderson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Willa Glover out in front who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Glover a new career-high in points. Mei Space was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals.

The win got Anderson back to even at 10-10. As for McNeil, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Anderson will be playing in front of their home fans against McCallum at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McNeil, they will face off against Cedar Ridge at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
