Bellaire had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped down to 3-4 to make it four. They lost 13-4 to the East Jordan Red Devils. The game snapped a strange streak: the last three times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Bellaire saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Balko, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Balko is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Dawson Dewey, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
As for East Jordan, their record is now 9-4. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won six matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.
On East Jordan's side, Brady Wilson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Wilson was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season.
In other pitching news, Hunter Whiteford looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
Back at the plate, Bradyn Russell was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Santino Raona, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
