San Miguel suffers 11th straight loss at home

Recap: San Miguel Vipers vs. Tanque Verde Hawks

This season hasn't been kind to the San Miguel Vipers, who are still winless after their 12th contest. They had to suffer through a rough 75-44 loss at the hands of Tanque Verde. San Miguel has not had much luck with Tanque Verde recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Tanque Verde was led to victory by Rich Knott and Philip Knott. Knott scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, while Knott scored 14 points. The matchup was Knott's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Jacob Dickens was another key contributor, scoring seven points.

San Miguel's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-12. As for Tanque Verde, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Miguel will take on Catalina at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tanque Verde won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Safford at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Safford has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 222 points over their last three matches.
