Schurz got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They snuck past Clemente with a 14-8 victory.

Meanwhile, ITW David Speer Academy came up short against Rauner on Friday and fell 24-16. The Pride have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Schurz's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for ITW David Speer Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
