Kaleigh Baugher put in work no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
Baugher wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Wells, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs. Another was Ariana Heninger, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
