Softball Recap: St. Francis Knights vs. Lanier Longhorns
St. Francis waltzed into their match on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They had just enough and edged the Lanier Longhorns out 6-4.
St. Francis has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Lanier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-13.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Providence Christian Academy the next time they take the field. Lanier will head out to face Providence Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while St. Francis will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
