Softball Recap: Campbell Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Campbell's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Malden Green Wave on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-5 last Friday.

Campbell is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12. As for Malden, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Coming up, Campbell will square off against Senath-Hornersville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.82 runs per game on average), something the Camels will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Malden, they will challenge Holcomb at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
