Soccer Recap: Pueblo County Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pueblo County can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Rampart Rams on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Pueblo County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Rampart are ranked 29th).

Pueblo County dropped their record down to 9-5-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Rampart, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-3 record this season.

Pueblo County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rampart, they will take on Golden at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Golden will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Rampart surely won't give up without a fight.
