Basketball Recap: Mora Comes Up Short

Mora lost to Pecos back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rangers/Rangerettes opened the new year with a less-than-successful 52-39 loss to the Panthers. The game marked the Rangers/Rangerettes' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mora's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Pecos, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Mora will be playing at home against Santa Rosa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rangers/Rangerettes will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.92 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pecos, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Penasco at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th.
