Volleyball Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Magnolia lost against Orange back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sentinels came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Magnolia ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Orange, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Magnolia will take on Varsity Opponent at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Orange, they will venture away from home to challenge Western at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
