Basketball Recap: Noah Dolinsky's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Valley Regional over Canton

On Thursday, the Valley Regional Warriors ended up a good deal behind the Canton Warriors and lost 75-59. Valley Regional has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Regional's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Dolinsky, who went 9 of 22 en route to 27 points. Rex Grabowski was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 18 rebounds.

Valley Regional's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Canton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Valley Regional wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-69 defeat against Grasso Tech on the 25th. As for Canton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Ellington at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
