Basketball Game Preview: Pretty Prairie Bulldogs vs. Bucklin Red Aces

The Pretty Prairie Bulldogs will head out to take on the Bucklin Red Aces at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Pretty Prairie might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Oxford an easy 77-53 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bucklin came up short against South Gray on Tuesday, falling 74-51. While losing is never fun, the Red Aces can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Rebels are ranked 34th).

Bucklin dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Pretty Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Pretty Prairie came up short against Bucklin in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 59-46. Can Pretty Prairie avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
