Soccer Recap: Cranbrook Kingswood Comes Up Short

Cranbrook Kingswood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Marian Mustangs, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Cranbrook Kingswood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Marian are ranked seventh).

Cranbrook Kingswood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Marian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cranbrook Kingswood will square off against Walled Lake Western at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marian, they will face off against Holly at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
