Softball Recap: Sacred Heart Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sacred Heart came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the St. Joseph Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
