Basketball Recap: Crossroads Christian Piles Up the Points Against Henderson Collegiate

Crossroads Christian won the last time they faced Henderson Collegiate and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Colts blew past the Pride 87-35. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 52 points or more this season.

Crossroads Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brody Watkins, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 24 points in addition to six assists and six steals. The game was Watkins' third in a row with at least 21 points. Jayson Baskerville was another key player, going 7-for-8 to rack up 15 points along with eight boards and five steals.

Crossroads Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Crossroads Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Henderson Collegiate, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 2-2.
