It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chickasaw can now relate to. They were beaten by the Cottonwood Bears 46-7 on Friday. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cottonwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Louis Scales, who rushed for 63 yards and two TDs. Hunter Edmonson was in the mix as well, providing the Bears with one touchdown.

Chickasaw's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Cottonwood, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3-1.

Chickasaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cottonwood, they have already played their next game, a 63-28 defeat against Reeltown on the 14th.
