Football Recap: Chickasaw Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Chickasaw and Cottonwood squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Chickasaw had to settle for second. They were dealt a 46-7 loss at the hands of the Bears. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cottonwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Louis Scales, who rushed for 63 yards and two TDs. Hunter Edmonson was in the mix as well, providing the Bears with one score.

Chickasaw's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Cottonwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Chickasaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cottonwood, they will face off against Reeltown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
