Basketball Recap: Greenwood Finds Home Court Redemption Against Seymour

There's no place like home for Greenwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They snuck past the Seymour Owls with a 52-47 win on Saturday.

Greenwood found their leader in sophomore Joey Ortman, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac O'Neal, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 10 points and four steals.

Greenwood's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Seymour, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.

Coming up, Greenwood will head out to take on Mooresville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Seymour, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Greensburg at 7:30 p.m. Greensburg will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Seymour surely won't give up without a fight.
