Basketball Recap: John Choul's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lindbergh over Renton

Lindbergh lost against Renton back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lindbergh Eagles fell to the Renton Red Hawks 61-55. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lindbergh's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Choul, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of James Huff, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 boards.

Lindbergh's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Renton, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Lindbergh wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-53 victory against Foster on the 7th. As for Renton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-54 loss against McClintock on the 4th.
