Poyen won the last time they faced Baptist Prep and Colt Barrett did his part to make sure it happened again. The Indians came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 28-21 on Friday thanks in part to Barrett, who rushed for 66 yards and two scores, and also threw for 213 yards on 18 of 30 attempts. He is becoming a predictor of Poyen's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't).

The victory got Poyen back to even at 4-4. As for Baptist Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Poyen has already played their next contest, a 50-14 win against Bearden on the 31st. As for Baptist Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 48-0 victory against Clarendon on the 31st.
