It was a good run, but Loara unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Western Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-17.

It was another big night for Byron Miranda, who had 19 digs and one assist for Western. Miranda is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season.

Loara's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Western, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1.

Coming up, Loara is taking a road trip to face off against Anaheim at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colonists will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Saxons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Western, they will be playing at home against Orange at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
