Football Recap: Clinton Prairie Keeps Delphi Community's Under Pressure

Delphi Community came into Friday's game looking for another win against Clinton Prairie, but Braiden Jarboe wouldn't allow it. The Gophers claimed a resounding 38-0 victory over the Oracles thanks in part to Jarboe, who rushed for 81 yards and one TD on only six carries, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and a pair of scores. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making one tackle.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Clinton Prairie's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jarboe, Hunter Cooper, and Alex King, who each picked up one sack apiece. Kye Jacobs got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Clinton Prairie now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Delphi Community, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
