Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Bay City Western

Central is 0-6 against Bay City Western since April of 2016 but things could change on Monday. Wolves will be playing at home against the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. Central has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Central is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Powers Catholic, falling 5-2.

Meanwhile, Bay City Western was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Frankenmuth. While losing is never fun, Bay City Western can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Frankenmuth are ranked 58th).

Bay City Western's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
