Soccer Recap: Fallbrook Triumphs

Fallbrook kept a clean sheet against Ramona on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Ramona Bulldogs out 1-0. Aidan Castro had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Warriors.

Fallbrook's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-3 and their overall record up to 3-4-6. As for Ramona, their loss dropped their record down to 6-7-4.

Fallbrook will challenge Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fallbrook's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Ramona, they will venture away from home to take on Escondido at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Ramona's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
