Soccer Game Preview: Sunnyside vs. Buchanan

Sunnyside hasn't had much luck against Buchanan recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wildcats will square off against the Bears at 6:00 p.m.

Sunnyside's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Stockdale with a sharp 3-0 win. Given Sunnyside's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 18th, while Stockdale are ranked 79th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sunnyside hit Stockdale with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alex Villavicencio, Adam Villavicencio, and Eduardo Rodriguez.

Meanwhile, Buchanan and Edison finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Buchanan's draw makes their record 4-0-3 this season. As for Sunnyside, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0-4.
