After a string of four wins, Golden West's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Fresno Warriors by a score of 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Trailblazers have suffered since February 6, 2024.

Golden West's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Fresno, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Golden West will face off against Mt. Whitney at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Golden West is facing Mt. Whitney at the right time seeing as Mt. Whitney is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Fresno, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sunnyside at 6:30 p.m. on January 15th.
