Basketball Recap: Cypress Christian Warriors vs. Lake Country Christian Eagles
Cypress Christian extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 3-8. They lost 59-37 to the Lake Country Christian Eagles. Despite the defeat, Cypress Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Houston Davis shot 64% from the field on his way to 22 points and five boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season.

Cypress Christian has already played their next contest, a 62-42 loss against Devine on the 4th. As for Lake Country Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 68-61 victory against St. John XXIII on the 4th.
