Volleyball Recap: Oswayo Valley Find Success + How To Watch

While Oswayo Valley's win against Smethport wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Green Wave skirted past the Hubbers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Green Wave have posted since September 25, 2024.

Oswayo Valley wouldn't go down easily and took Smethport into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 25-19, 22-25, 15-13.

Smethport's loss on Wednesday came despite strong showings from Chloe Conn and Kaylin Ruffner. Conn had 13 digs and four aces, while Ruffner had 19 digs and two assists.

Oswayo Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Smethport, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
