Softball Recap: Pinecrest Takes a Loss

Pinecrest had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Patriots have suffered since March 14, 2025.

Pinecrest has already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Riverside Christian Academy on the 21st. As for Fairmont, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Seventy-First at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
