Softball Recap: North Knox Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Knox can now relate to. They fell just short of the Sullivan Golden Arrows by a score of 11-10 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Arrows this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in April.

North Knox's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Sullivan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-11.

North Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sullivan, they will face off against West Vigo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Arrows' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season.
