Volleyball Game Preview: San Juan Broncos vs. Beaver Beavers

After both having extra time off, the San Juan Broncos and the Beaver Beavers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. San Juan will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

San Juan saw some tournament action on Saturday. Everything went their way against Taylorsville as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Beaver hadn't done well against Parowan recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Thursday. The Beavers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Beavers have posted since August 7th.

Beaver wouldn't go down easily and took Parowan into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-7, 21-25, 12-25, 25-15, 15-12.

San Juan's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Beaver, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

San Juan took their victory against Beaver when the teams last played on September 5th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
