Basketball Recap: Meadowdale Comes Up Short

Meadowdale was the 71-47 winner over Archbishop Murphy when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Meadowdale Mavericks fell 51-38 to the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats on Thursday. The match marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meadowdale has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Archbishop Murphy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadowdale will host Edmonds-Woodway at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Archbishop Murphy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountlake Terrace at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
