Football Recap: Durham Comes Up Short on the Road Against Redding Christian + How To Watch

Durham had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 40-0 defeat at the hands of the Redding Christian Lions. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Wyatt Shaw had a dynamite game For Redding Christian., throwing for 164 yards and five TDs while completing 76% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave Shaw a new career-high. Micah Skinner made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Durham didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 42-6 win against Trinity on the 5th. As for Redding Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 26-6 victory against Biggs on the 5th.
