Softball Recap: Peabody Takes a Loss

Peabody fell victim to Gibson County and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Golden Tide's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Peabody dropped their record down to 10-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Gibson County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Peabody nor Gibson County have any future games scheduled.
