Fans were treated to a Battle of the Eagles on Monday. The Worcester Tech Eagles came out on top against the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles by a score of 60-48. Worcester Tech hasn't had any issues with Advanced Math & Science Academy recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Worcester Tech's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worcester Tech will face off against Nipmuc Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Worcester Tech knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Nipmuc Regional likes a good challenge. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, they will head out to face off against Montachusett RVT at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
