Soccer Recap: Middleburgh Takes a Loss

Middleburgh lost against Cobleskill-Richmondville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights lost 5-1 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Middleburgh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Cobleskill-Richmondville are ranked 98th).

Middleburgh now has a losing record of 3-4-3. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Middleburgh has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Mekeel Christian Academy on the 1st. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Loudonville Christian on the 1st.
