Volleyball Recap: Thomasville Comes Up Short

Thomasville lost against Georgia Christian back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals.

While Thomasville ultimately came up short, they really made Georgia Christian work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24.

Thomasville's offense was headlined by Elle Mccollum and Kennedy Brooks, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Kinley Peterson and her five assists.

Thomasville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Thomasville will head out on the road to square off against Thomas County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Georgia Christian, they will square off against Sherwood Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
