Volleyball Recap: Clayton Valley Charter Extends Winning Streak to Two

Acalanes came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Clayton Valley Charter, but Zachari Modina wouldn't allow it. Clayton Valley Charter was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Acalanes on Tuesday with plenty of help from Modina, who had 30 digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April of 2024.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 26-24, 26-24, 25-14.

The victory made it two in a row for Clayton Valley Charter and bumps their season record up to 9-4. As for Acalanes, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Clayton Valley Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Campolindo on the 20th. As for Acalanes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Las Lomas on the 20th.
