Basketball Recap: North Central Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If North Central was feeling good fresh off their 67-47 takedown of Ferris last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Central Wolfpack took a 64-46 bruising from the Lake City Timberwolves on Monday. That makes it the first time this season the Wolfpack have let down their home crowd.

North Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Lake City, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

North Central and Lake City should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. North Central (ranked 76th) will meet Rogers (ranked 216th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Lake City will square off against Moscow at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025 up 48 places (4 vs. 52).
