Basketball Recap: Darryl Mcdonald's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Millington Central over Memphis University School

Millington Central was the 53-48 winner over Memphis University School when they last played one another back in December of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 73-64 to the Owls on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Darryl McDonald, who posted 17 points. Andre Tyler was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Millington Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Memphis University School, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Millington Central and Middle College will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Memphis University School, they will face off against Brentwood Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
