Softball Recap: Kent County Comes Up Short

Kent County fell victim to Snow Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Eagles. The game marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Talicia Wright made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double. Laila Johnson also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Kent County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Snow Hill, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-6.

Kent County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-11 victory against Cambridge-South Dorchester on the 9th. As for Snow Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-0 loss against Mardela on the 8th.
