Football Game Preview: Rockford Rams vs. Jenison Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Rockford Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Jenison Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Rockford is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: Hudsonville, who was ranked fifth at the time (Rockford was ranked eighth). The Rams fell 35-28 to the Eagles on Friday. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brayden Daniels, who threw for 292 yards and two TDs. Owen Holt was Daniels' top target, picking up 141 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Jenison was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 31-26 to Grandville. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Rockford's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Jenison, the defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-3.

Rockford and Jenison were almost perfectly matched up when the teams last played back in September of 2024, but Rockford suffered an agonizing 15-14 loss. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
