Basketball Recap: Greenville Christian Has No Trouble Against St. Joseph

Greenville Christian won the last time they faced St. Joseph and things went their way on Thursday too. The Greenville Christian Saints blew past the St. Joseph Fighting Irish 52-31. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Greenville Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for St. Joseph, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Greenville Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Delta Streets Academy at 10:20 a.m. on Friday. As for St. Joseph, they will look to defend their home court on January 16th against Washington at 6:00 p.m.
